inventory model for deteriorating items with revenue sharing on preservation technology investment under price sensitive stock dependent demand

abstract
the objective of this research is to tackle the emerging problem of jointly determining theoptimal retail price, the replenishment cycle, and the cost of preservation technology investment from an integrated perspective among the supplier and the manufacturer. this paper deals an integrated single-manufacturer single-retailer supply chain model for deteriorating items under revenue sharing on preservation technology investment. the proposed model is developed under the contract that the manufacturer offers the retailer for a percentage of revenue sharing on preservation technology investment. the market demand is assumed to be dependent on both the on-hand stock and price, and the manufacturer & the retailer are in an agreement of lot-for-lot policy. numerical & graphical analysis is given to illustrate the model.

INVENTORY MODEL FOR DETERIORATING ITEMS WITH REVENUE SHARING ON PRESERVATION TECHNOLOGY INVESTMENT UNDER PRICE SENSITIVE STOCK DEPENDENT DEMAND

This paper deals an integrated single-manufacturer single-retailer supply chain model for deteriorating items under revenue sharing on p...
full textA multi-objective inventory model for deteriorating items with backorder and stock dependent demand
Classical deterministic inventory models consider the demand rate to be either constant or time-dependent but independent from the stock status. However, for a certain type of inventory, the demand rate may be in-fluenced by the stock level. Also in many real-life problems, some products such as fruits, vegetables, phar-maceuticals and volatile liquids continuously deteriorate to evaporation, o...
full textInventory Model for Deteriorating Items with Quadratic Time Dependent Demand under Trade Credits
In this paper, an EOQ model is developed for a deteriorating item with quadratic time dependent demand rate under trade credit. Mathematical models are also derived under two different situations i.e. Case I; the credit period is less than the cycle time for settling the account and Case II; the credit period is greater than or equal to the cycle time for settling the account. The numerical exa...
full textTwo-Warehouse Inventory Model for Deteriorating Items with Time-Dependent Demand and Partial Backlogging Under Inflation
This paper deals with a two-warehouse inventory model for deteriorating items with time dependent demand and partial backlogging under inflation. It is assumed that deterioration of items follows two-parameter Weibull distribution and demand rate varies exponentially with time. Shortages are allowed and partial backlogging depends on waiting time of next replenishment. A numerical example is pr...
full textInventory Models with Stock- and Price- Dependent Demand for Deteriorating Items Based on Limited Shelf Space
This paper deals with the problem of determining the optimal selling price and order quantity simultaneously under EOQ model for deteriorating items. It is assumed that the demand rate depends not only on the on-display stock level but also the selling price per unit, as well as the amount of shelf/display space is limited. We formulate two types of mathematical models to manifest the extended ...
full textEconomic Production Quantity Models with Shortage, Price and Stock-Dependent Demand for Deteriorating Items
This investigation presents an economic production quantity (EPQ) model for deteriorating items with stock-dependent demand and shortages. It is assumed that a constant fraction of the on-hand inventory deteriorates and demand rate depends upon the amount of the stock level. Expression for various optimal indices as well as cost analysis are provided. By taking numerical illustration, sensitivi...
